What's Involved?

Building on our solstice traditions at Heartwood, this 2-hour afternoon experience takes you on a guided adventure that includes a short forest walk, warm tea around a fire, and a barnyard visit. But in addition, this experience features seasonal storytelling by our friend Andrew Welch. • Wander through Heartwood’s majestic maple forest • Cozy up around our woodland campfire for solstice season reflection with a warm mug of tea • Head to the barn to meet our pigs, chickens, sheep, llamas, cows and horse • Visit our farmstore to take Heartwood treats home with you. Details: • Time: 2-hour guided experience • Please wear winter boots and warm clothing to come prepared for the cold! Gather at our woodland patio to enjoy a warm Heartwood welcome. No dogs please (farm animals find even the cutest ones stressful!)
