About the event
Join us to explore sights and sounds on our regenerative farm with a behind-the-scenes Heartwood experience. Meet our friendly farm animals and discover the magnificent forest garden! Each season brings new delights, whether it's cuddling newborn piglets in spring or tasting seasonal fruits and berries. This guided experience is for all ages, and provides you the chance to:
- Interact with livestock: cuddle a piglet, hang out with sheep and llamas, and say hello to chickens, cows, and Sonny the horse!
- Learn about the role each animal plays and discover how we are all connected through the wonders of regenerative farming
- Taste ripening fruit right from the vine, shrub, or tree in our labyrinth forest garden
- Have time to explore at your own pace, and feel free to ask lots of questions!
Details:
- Time: 90 minute guided experience, group max 12 people per guide (Note: low registration numbers may require rescheduling)
- Cost: $22 adults, $11 (3-13 year olds)
- Your attendance supports our ongoing regenerative agriculture practices relating to climate change, soil health, and biodiversity.
Gather at our woodland patio to enjoy a warm Heartwood welcome. Please wear closed toe shoes that are muck friendly, and come prepared for the weather that day (sunscreen, water bottles, bug spray, rain coats might all be appropriate!).
No dogs please (farm animals find even the cutest ones stressful!)
Extend your visit and Book a patio table for your group before or after your farm adventure.
We are happy to accommodate a custom date/time or a private tour for groups (minimum of 8 guests). Reach out to val@heartwoodfarm.ca to inquire!
