Immerse Yourself - Stay Overnight

PLEASE NOTE: Our tents are unavailable in the off-season, but we've left the page open so that you can check it out, and make plans for next summer!

We have had many visitors tell us “you’re living my dream”. Maybe you’ve thought about growing your own food, getting back to nature, living a simpler, more sustainable life? Or maybe you just really need a change of pace… a chance to unwind and regenerate in a rural haven? Let us welcome you in so you can reconnect to the simple wonders of a nature-inspired, farm life.

Reconnect to Nature

Heartwood is a beautifully diverse, regenerative farm, inspired by nature’s design. Immerse yourself in the tranquil splendour of our woodlands, meadows, forest gardens, pastures and wetlands. Two of our three tents are situated amidst the fruit and nut trees of our central orchard, while the third is nestled among the spruce trees in one of the farm’s secluded woodlands. Each one offers a private campfire circle and peaceful natural context in which you can recharge and regenerate.

Reconnect to Animals

We share this place with a menagerie of farm animals - llamas, cows, horses, sheep, pigs, chickens, and of course a friendly farm dog and barn cats. When folks visit Heartwood, they often like to spend time with the animals that share this land with us. Once we orient you, you will have the freedom to hang out and interact, often up close and personal. Or ask us about the farm chores we’re up to while you’re here – you might get in on cattle moving, pig feeding, fruit picking or egg collecting.

Reconnect to Simple Wonders

Experience a warm Heartwood welcome with complimentary cider on our woodland patio. Be charmed by the antics of piglets, revel in the beauty of wildflowers, and embrace the relaxed pace of farm life.  Fresh country air and a comfy queen-sized bed make for a good night's sleep -- awake refreshed and let the morning unfold. Coffee and an orchard stroll? Joining for farm chores? Reading in the hammock?
